I have previously worked with 1-2 lawyers.

I hired Attorney Roberts to help with my lender (indymac/ one west) They paid my property taxes and forced me into an escrow account that was not affordable. The home was a property that had been in our family for 30 years. The state of California wrongfully reappraised the property value and I was working to fix that when My bank wrongfully paid the taxes and was attempting to have me pay them back in 6 months. This took my payment from 1150 to 2600. I tried to work with Indymac and they would not help. Instead they rushed me through foreclosure process and had a sale date scheduled. That is when I found the law offices of J. Arthur Roberts who helped me file a Bakruptcy to stop the sale. The lender later violated the automatic stay and sold the home. We sued them, reversed the sale, got principal reduction of $50,000 and an award of $10,000. I Highly encourage you to call him to see if he may be able to help youas well.

Joseph Arthur Roberts is one of the best attorneys that I have ever associated with. He represented me in a bankruptcy, class action suit and with a loan modification and he delivered exactly what I was looking for. He is a tough negotiator with the banks, he was always prepared beyond my expectations in the courtroom and he consistently over delivered beyond my expectations. He kept me in my house for over 3 years and kept my case alive until the bank ultimately settled with a loan modification that secured my house and my future. At my age I never thought I would have to file Bankruptcy…but with a divorce and then getting laid off my job I found myself for the first time in 40 years not able to pay my bills and digging myself in a bigger hole month after month. I did not know any bankruptcy attorneys so just sat down at my computer and started to Google. I came across Joe, read his profile, saw how many cases he filed (which was a lot), figured he knew what he was doing so I made the call. I spoke to his paralegal Kent and was immediately comfortable with him so I made an appointment! When I arrived at the office it was a very casual atmosphere, not scary at all and everyone was so nice and made an effort to make a very nervous me feel better. My biggest concern was saving my home. I then met Joe and his adorable shaggy dog, which I LOVED, and I knew this was who I wanted to file my bankruptcy. Joe was honest, direct and told me the good and the bad about filing a Chapter 7 and he assured me in that first meeting my home would me safe. AND, everything was true! I did have a couple of bumps in the road during my process and Paralegal Kent was right there with me to get them resolved…the rest is history. My Chapter 7 went through seamlessly. All in all a very good experience for a very stressful process. I highly recommend Joe and his staff if you want an honest and knowledgeable assessment of your legal needs.

Joseph Arthur Robert was excellent!!!!! He helped me keep my home and got a loan mod for me when everybody else couldn’t do anything for me but say sorry and short sale was my only option beside foreclosure. My wife and I were in a really bad financial situation without any good options. We found the J. A. Roberts web site by accident and it explained a few things that we needed to do, we tried them on our own. If the bank we were dealing with had cooperated that would have worked. But they didn’t cooperate, the strung us along and took advantage of our situation. When we finally called J.A. Roberts for help they had a settlement with our bank within a week. Just wanted to send a quick follow-up in regards to our foreclosure defense efforts. As I mentioned before, we were able to stall our Chapter 13 filing after attorney Roberts had relieved our Tax-Liability worries, which allowed our agent to submit another offer, postponing the sale another 30 days. Yesterday morning we were able to close a short-sale buyer and submitted an offer to the bank, which we’re fairly confident will be accepted. Even better, Mom was able to pressure our agent for a $10k moving allowance, directly from his brokerage. We will have 90 days in the house from the date the sale is accepted, and then we will be able to move on, free and clear.

I just wanted to thank you both for all your help and assistance. We achieved more with your help than we had through numerous wasted hours and dollars on various advisors and litigators throughout this process. I’ll be sure to highly recommend your services in the future.

I first came in contact with the law offices of J Arthur Roberts in 2011. It was during the most desperate our lives (my family and I). Du ring that time I was enrolled i n a university and was thinking of dropping out because I was drowning with too much debt, to the point that I could not concentrate in school or work. It was in one of my classes that I fou nd a very relaxed man who we began talking to me about home loa ns and debt. I expressed to him my frustration with my home
